Free Heart Medical Check-up Camp In Bhikiyasen
Young Uttarakhand team organized a free Heart check-up Medical Camp in Bhikiyasen, Kumaon, Uttarakhand in collaboration with the Escorts Heart Hospital, Delhi with the support of Shri Surendra Singh Jeena, MLA, Bhikiyasen.
The Camp was held for two days 12th Jan, 08 (Saturday) and 13th Jan 08 (Sunday). Large number of villagers from nearby and remote villages turned out for availing benefits from this Free Heart Check-up Camp having Senior Heart Specialist from Escorts Hospital, Delhi equipped with Ultra Modern machines such as ECG, ECHO Cardio. A total no. of 300 heart patients were registered for the camp and the Senior Heart Specialist from Escorts hospital diagnosed the patients and gave prescription to the heart patients.
The Young Uttarakhand team that comprised of Shri Purnendu Singh Chauhan, President, Shri Vipin Panwar, Vice President, Chandra Kanta Negi, PRO, and other senior members such as Vivek Patwal, Nitin Sharma, Sachidanand Semwal, Vijay Kukreti, and Subhash Kandpal rendered their services in registration of the patients, coordination of the Medical Check-up and smooth functioning of the event.
The Chief Guest of the event was Shri Surendra Singh Jeena, MLA, Bhikiyasen who was instrumental in advertising the Camp on large-scale and making arrangements for food and accommodation for the entire Escorts Hospital Staff. The Camp was finally closed at 3 pm on Sunday with the Young Uttarakhand Team felicitating the Escorts Team and Shri Surendra Singh Jeena, MLA and other volunteers with Mementos and certificates for their invaluable services in organizing the camp.
